Tour Plan

Day 1 – Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Morning: Early departure from Kampala for a long scenic drive (approx. 8–9 hrs) southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enroute Highlights: Stop at the Equator for photos, pass through rolling hills, tea and banana plantations, and enjoy stunning countryside views.

Evening: Arrive at your lodge on the edge of Bwindi, rest, and prepare for the gorilla trek.

Day 2 – Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Morning: After an early briefing with rangers, begin your gorilla trek. The trek can take 2–6 hours depending on the gorilla family’s movement. Once located, spend one unforgettable hour observing these gentle giants in their natural forest habitat.

Afternoon: After trekking, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi (2–3 hrs drive), one of Africa’s most beautiful lakes.

Evening: Relax with a lakeside view or take a short canoe ride.

Day 3 – Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala

Morning: Optional short boat ride or village walk at Lake Bunyonyi.

Midday: Depart for Kampala (approx. 7–8 hrs).

Evening: Arrival marks the end of the safari.
